Like a zombie with tales to tell
It's been a long time since my last update. I've been up to a lot lately:
- constantly relearning that writing is one of the hardest jobs in the world, yet it remains to this date one of the most under-appreciated (did you know that a photographer gets paid a basic staple of Php 2000.00 for a short photo shoot whilst his writer companion can hover around a coverage, trying to gather information and risking the ire of the more annoyable personages, yet they only get paid Php 2000.00 if they actually come up with an article spanning the length of two magazine pages?)
- restructuring my room. I now have a bigger bed, a new boombox to replace my old and battered cd player, a lamp, and more dust mites than there are stars thank you very much. I also discovered this gigantic termite nest in the floor near my door and had the grandest of times running them out of town (It's either you varmints or me, bucko, and I ain't willin' to budge.)
- getting into a relationship (I will not elaborate. If you want mushy, see me in person, preferably with my loved one.)
- have i complained about how hard it is to write yet?
- watched, and tried to rub shoulders with, Pinikpikan (and ultimately discovered just how screwed up Billy Bonnevie is. Not to mention abrupt.)
- fell in love with the UP Diliman campus. (and fell deeper for the elements surrounding the campus's periphery)
All in all, a very productive two months. Now if only I could find a way of conjuring up a ten-peso coin for every word I write here.....
Shaman's
not coming along as well as it should, but the plans and ideas are
up. I'm looking at a mid-May launch date. I'm hoping for the best. See ya around folks
